You will need to avoid alcohol and smoking for about five days before your PDO thread lift, as these substances can promote bleeding and bruising.

On the day of your procedure, you will sit reclined comfortably while our in-house providers disinfects your face and administers local anesthesia. Once you are ready for the procedure to begin, the PA will use a needle to create a tiny incision where the PDO thread will be placed. Next, they will use a very small cannula to insert and anchor the thread. Lastly, they will remove the cannula and trim the excess thread, completing your procedure.

PDO THREAD LIFT RECOVERY

Head home immediately after your treatment.

You can expect minimal recovery time after your PDO thread lift. You will be able to return to most of your daily activities as soon as you leave our office. However, you may notice some swelling and bruising for the first day or two. For about two weeks, you will need to avoid rubbing your face, smoking, and drinking from a straw to prevent damage to your results. You will also need to avoid exposure to intense heat, strenuous exercise, and sleeping on your face.
